I don’t know how many people I have talked to lately who have said “I go straight from drinking coffee to drinking wine”. It’s so easy to forget to take care of yourself when you are juggling your job, your family, being a full time chef, and a full time teacher.
A few weeks ago, I fainted. Twice. I realized that I was crazy dehydrated. In the midst of allllll the habits I had established in my ‘normal life’ changing, I lost track of drinking enough water. You have to do it on purpose!
Drinking enough water does more than leave you in a conscious state. A recent study found that 67% of respondents who drank “more than enough” water evaluated themselves as “very happy,” whereas only 21% of those who said they “didn’t drink enough water” said they’re “very happy.” It’s a simple habit that makes a BIG difference! So cheers to 8 glasses a day you guys!
