
Our bodies are like machines. We require a fuel to work. Everything that goes on in our bodies, our emotions, our thoughts, our systems and processes, all run off of calories. Emotions may not be exactly calories, per se, but burning calories helps release that itchy overwhelmed feeling in your mind. 
Exercise is good for our bodies, and good for our souls. You don’t have to be a super athlete to enjoy the benefits. A 20 minute walk in the sunshine, a quick free yoga session using the Down Dog: app, even getting busy doing some gardening can reap enormous benefits for your body and for your mind.
Challenge yourself this week to be active every day. Don’t overdo it, but get off of your sewing chair and out in the natural world. It’s the perfect time of year, and it’s the perfect way to get rid of some of the overwhelming anxiety chasing us around all day every day.
